Student School Nurse Ambassador

Hi, my name is Amanda Bond. I am very excited that I have the pleasure of being a SAPHNA student ambassador and look forward to all it brings and to all the student school nurses I will get to meet and engage with. A little bit about me: I work for Leicester Partnership Trust in the south area of Leicester. I have developed through my training with LPT as a nursing associate, then completed my top-up to a children’s nurse, to where I am today as a student SCPHN – SN. Before all this, I was a health care assistant for 10 years in a children’s and young people’s hospice. I am passionate about creating a school nursing role that supports future children and young people that not only supports and empowers them but also creates a new and forward-thinking model of school nursing.
