The video is age restricted and not recommended for viewing by anyone under 18 years of age. The current pandemic has highlighted an increase in online offenders targeting young people using social media platforms. The video identifies risks concerning: • Privacy Locations settings • Remote Controlling • Oversharing • Grooming • Indecent Images • Sexting and • Gaming
- Open Criminal Exploitation – County lines This video is age restricted and not recommended for viewing by anyone under 18 years of age. The video is 11 minutes in duration. The video provides in depth information for Parents, Teachers and Professionals associated with the criminal exploitation of young and vulnerable people by gangs involved in ‘County Lines’ activity. ‘County Lines’ refers to exploitation and drug dealing among urban street gangs. The video features definitions used in connection with ‘County Lines’ and highlights the associated risks, such as: • Grooming • Cuckooing • Trapping The Myths and Realities of ‘County Lines’ are exposed along with the use of remote controlling and technology to constantly track exploited people. Importantly the video sets out how to spot the signs of young/vulnerable persons being exploited.
