Lorren Johnson
SAPHNA Committee member
My name is Lorren Johnson. My career started when I graduated as a Children’s nurse from the university of Leeds in 2017. I have experience working in clinical roles on both the neonatal intensive care unit and a children’s surgical ward before moving to a public health community role in 2021.
In September 2022, I began my Specialist Community Public Health Nursing Postgraduate at the University of Hull and in 2023 qualified as a school nurse. I now work in the Hull 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service.
I am incredibly passionate about school nursing and helping to support others within the school nursing community. I am proud to have had the role of SAPHNA student ambassador during my school nurse training, supporting other students and showcasing innovative practice and research. I look forward to working within SAPHNA, connecting, and sharing experience with other school nurses in this community.
