I have worked in healthcare since 2007, I started as an HCA on a psychiatric unit and qualified as an adult nurse in 2015. I went straight into a post as a School Staff Nurse and have never looked back!
I completed my SCPHN training in 2017 and my MSc in Public health in 2019. I have worked in various School Nursing teams and am currently the Team Lead for the School nursing team in Shropshire.
I have just embarked on a PhD in Health and am excited for the next step in this adventure. I am proud and honoured to be part of SAPHNA, raising the profile of fabulous School Nurses and contributing to making a difference to the children, young people and their families in the communities that we serve.
