Student School Nurse Ambassador

Hello, my name is Hannah Leslie, and I am proud to share that I am a Student Ambassador for SAPHNA. I am looking forward to the work we will be doing, and the connections we will make with fellow student school nurses. A little about me – I work in a small School Health Team in NHS Orkney, a rural and remote island off the top of Scotland. My role provides a variety of unique and exciting opportunities, and I am passionate in providing a high-quality service to children, young people and their families. I have been with the team for over 10 years (initially as a HCSW) and my love and excitement for the work and role, pushed me to become a Registered Nurse; so, I could then ultimately become a School Nurse – I am now on my way to reaching that goal! School Nurses are simply the best, and I look forward to getting the word out about us
