Annie O’Neill

I am passionate about School Nursing, which I have been doing for 10 years, and was one of the highly selected Public Health England’s National School Nurse Leaders. I am also a volunteer on the WeSchoolNurses twitter account. I am keen to promote all aspects of our Public Health Role and specifically to keep School Nursing on the Political Agenda.

We need to publicise the important role that we play in keeping schools a healthy community in which pupils and staff can thrive and reach their full potential. I have recently started my own business and feel that my experiences will complement the work of SAPHNA by recognising that, in order to survive, School Nursing must be economically and business astute.
