Duncan Barton appointed new CNO

SAPHNA are delighted to hear the news that Duncan Burton has been appointed as our new Chief Nursing Officer. He has a long-standing background in public health and is a staunch supporter of our work. As part of our campaign for a School Nurse in Every School, he demonstrated this by spending a day with Oxfordshire school nursing services under the wonderful guidance of our colleague Tikki Harrold. We look forward to the publication of the CNO strategy, on which we have partnered, and to his ongoing support to urgently increase our waning workforce!
