BEAT have worked in partnership with NHS England to develop an Eating Disorders Community of Practice

The Community of Practice is split into two separate workforce groups; the nursing workforce and GP and primary care workforce. The Nursing workforce Community of Practice group launches 1st August 2023 and aims to support clinicians to feel confident and better understand, support, and treat people with eating disorders. Sessions are designed to follow on from the Beat and NHS England Eating disorders e-Learning, specifically our Nursing Workforce Sessions (accessed here). Any nursing staff that have completed the relevant e-Learning can join, including nursing staff working within schools.
