Nurses working in Independent Education Settings

This COP is open to nurses working in independent education settings and those employed directly be maintained schools. Nurses in these settings are often lone practitioners, and this COP aims to provide an opportunity to network and engage with others from this field of practice. SAPHNA recognises that working in independent education settings have different roles, responsibilities and the role brings some differing  challenges to school nurses working in services delivering the Healthy Child Programme. SAPHNA recognises that nurses working in independent settings have a crucial public health role in improving the health and wellbeing on children and young people in these setting.
