National review: Safeguarding Children with Disabilities and Complex Health Needs in Residential Settings

The Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel published their latest review in April 2023. The Phase 1 report had outlined how 108 children and young people were abused in three residential settings. The final Phase 2 report explores the broader system issues and recommendations.

In this session, Sally Shearer OBE, Panel member and Registered Nurse (Child) will share reflections on the report, before leading a discussion on the key issues for School Nurses.
