ERIC – school toilets survey3 January 2024
ERIC have asked for members to share their survey that has been designed by our group of Young Champions asking students aged 11-18 to tell them what they think about their schools toilets. Its been sent out to every UK school, and through a network of Young Ambassadors at Participation People, the organisation that is facilitating our young people’s group. This is for all students not just those with bowel/bladder conditions.
The Versus Arthritis school series has been developed with a group of over 30 young people. They shared their experiences and ideas – helping to create new support tools and services for young people living with rheumatic conditions, their families and the professionals who support them. Some of the films are for young people living with arthritis and their families – sharing top tips and support. Others are for school staff – highlighting how to create inclusive schools and support young people to thrive. Young Epilepsy have launched their new campaign Understand My Epilepsy – it calls on schools to improve their understanding of their students’ epilepsy and how to support them to be safe and reach their potential.
