0-19 Yorkshire & Humber CRN update

0-19 Research Network (CRN Yorkshire & Humber)

SAPHNA have been supporting the growth and development of the Yorkshire and Humber 0-19 Research Network

Research can frequently be lost in our busy working schedules and the need to raise its profile and impact is evident in the recent Chief Nurse’s Strategy

The research network held its first face to face event since Covid in November 2022.  SAPHNA were able to share our commitment and support around research and promote research to our School Nursing workforce in the Yorkshire and Humber area

Much of the focus of the work for SAPHNA is around realistic expectations and meeting our workforce where they are at.

Research is not always around PHDs and University jobs, it is wider than that and we need to ensure that our community understand and have a relationship with research at the right level for them.  SAPHNA are in an ideal position to offer this relationship through the networks, SIGs, dissemination of activities nationally in school nursing and therefore we continue to support this area of practice and growth.

The network met in Leeds this month to plan for the next event and to also consider the future of the network and its activities.

The next face to face event is planned for Tuesday 16th May  – if you are not already please ensure you join the Yorkshire and Humber 01-9 Research Network by emailing your request to be part of the circulation invites and activities below.
