SAPHNA Compass PE partnership update

Dear colleagues 

We are delighted to announce new training dates for school nurses to learn how to train their stakeholders in school aged continence issues and medicines management (covering anaphylaxis, asthma & epilepsy).

The clinically approved training has been developed as a ‘train the trainer’ package by Compass Positive Effect in partnership with SAPHNA. Once trained, you will be equipped with the knowledge and ready to use course materials enabling you to deliver the training in schools to teachers and parents.  

The training offers delegates: 

  • Readymade clinically reviewed course materials 
  • An approach tried and tested by a large school nursing team 
  • Value for money, SAPHNA members benefit from a discounted rate of £45/course 
  • Packages that are easy to roll out to schools/parents 
  • Prevention and early help solutions 
  • Opportunities for individual CPD 
  • An opportunity to develop their confidence and competence for delivery. 

The training will take place virtually over half a day, places are available on the following dates: 

2021 dates: November 29th, December 6th, December 13th 

2022 dates: January 10th, January 17th
