New SIG: Registered Nursing Associate role in nursing practice

At SAPHNA we have initiated a Special Interest Group (SIG) to explore the newly Registered Nursing Associate (RNA) role in nursing practice.  We want to consider how this role could be integrated into our School Nurse and Health Visiting teams.

Some teams may already have RNA’s, whilst others may have staff in training on the nursing associate programme and for others they may wish to be involved to consider the scope of practice for RNAs to explore further in their workforce development plans.

The SIG will bring together individuals nationally and will be supported by senior leads in Health education England (HEE) to consider the RNA role and the scope practice and advantages of integrating this exciting role into our 0-19 teams

Please register your interest HERE and we will inform you of the planned events for your diary
